YOUR VOICE belongs to you.

You don't have to agree with us.
You don't have to tell someone else's story.
You don't have to know the “right” thing to say.

You just have to tell the truth about your experience.

The resources below are designed to help you understand
what's changing, think about your own experiences with the
Fine Arts, and decide what you want policymakers to know.

We won't give you the words.

Those belong to you.

START WITH YOUR STORY.

You don't need to write about
the Fine Arts in general.

Write about what

they have meant to you.

Maybe you discovered an activity you love, a talent you didn't know you had, a career possibility, confidence, or a place where you belong.

I FOUND SOMETHING.

Maybe you joined because someone encouraged you, you needed a credit, a friend talked you into it, or you ended up in a class you never would have chosen on your own.

I almost missed it.

Maybe the Fine Arts aren't the center of your life. That's okay. Think about whether having the opportunity to experience them mattered, even if you choose a completely different path.

i’m still figuring it out.

Your story does not have to be dramatic to matter.

It just has to be yours.
